Rs404
The Rs404 router bit with NeoGuard™ is the 4mm diameter version of our Rs400 series bits, optimized for routing Aluminum Composite Material (ACM). This versatile tool is designed for both routing and engraving applications. It is suitable for a wide range of composite materials, including ACM, SCM, Maxmetal, MAXMETAL® ELEMENT, Alumicor, Alumalite, Dibond®, Omega-Bond®, Alucobond, Econolite, Pro-Lite, and E-Panel.
Featuring a polished single O flute up-cut design with NeoGuard™, the Rs404 ensures long life and clean edges. Experience up to 2.5 times the bit life compared to non-coated router bits, making it a cost-effective choice for high-performance routing.

Introducing NeoGuard™ Coating
Our NeoGuard™ bits feature an advanced nACo® nanocomposite coating with exceptional nanohardness and heat resistance. With a brilliant, distinctively-tinted hue, NeoGuard™ enhances four critical aspects of router tooling.
The NeoGuard™ coating is a micro-thin ceramic layer that preserves the tool's cutting edge sharpness and lubricity, ensuring extended lifespan and top-quality cutting results. This coating effectively prevents high heat and oxidation, which can degrade cutting tool performance. Though the multi-colored hues are visually appealing, they will fade with use, yet the coating remains fully effective.
NeoGuard™ provides an impressive hardness of approximately 4,500 Vickers on the cutting areas of the tool, offering an increase of up to 2.5 times compared to uncoated bits.
Note: The blue tint dissipates upon use, but the NeoGuard™ nanocomposite coating retains its full effectiveness.
