Summa / F Series Vantage / F3232

Summa F3232 Vantage Flatbed Cutting System

Summa logo Authorized Summa Dealer

Two jobs in play at full width.

The F3232 Vantage is the largest model in Summa's F Series Vantage line: a 128.5" x 126" working area, 130.7" media width for 3.2 m printer output, and 14 vacuum zones in two rows of seven. The two rows are the point. One half of the table cuts while you load the other, at a size where a single 5x10 board takes up less than half the bed.

It runs the same platform as every Vantage: 1,000 mm/s (40 ips), acceleration to 1 G, three module positions, Fast+ and Core+ tangential modules, the 3.7 kW router, ultrasonic thickness sensing, and 3D blade calibration. Flatbed Tools sells, installs, trains on, and services the F3232 Vantage, and stocks the blades, router bits, and conveyor belts it runs.

Who the F3232 Vantage Is For

  • High-volume soft signage and packaging floors where the table, not the printer, is the bottleneck, and one job cutting while the next loads is worth the floor space.
  • Display and exhibit builders cutting oversized honeycomb, reboard, and corrugated panels that don't fit anywhere else.
  • ACM fabricators running two 5x10 plates side by side, or one plate and a roll job on the other half.
  • Shops that run 3.2 m textile in the morning and rigid board in the afternoon on one table without swapping anything but the module.

If you run roll-fed textile and rarely cut sheets, the F3220 Vantage gives you the same width on a smaller footprint. If 5x10 is your largest sheet and 3.2 m media isn't in the picture, the F1832 Vantage is the narrower table.

Banner and flexible media

PVC banner, adhesive vinyl, reflective and magnetic sheeting across the full width with the conveyor.

Packaging and industrial

Folding carton and corrugated prototypes with creasing wheels and V-cut. Gasket material, rubber, and foam to 42 mm with the pneumatic oscillating tools.

F3232 Vantage Modules and Tools

The F3232 ships with the drag knife module, the camera module, and ADC on both edges. From there you configure it:

  • Core+ module for kiss-cutting, creasing, V-cut, rigid cutout, and oscillating tools. 44 lb of downforce. The module most F3232 packaging and display work runs on.
  • 3.7 kW HF router at 60,000 RPM for ACM, acrylic, MDF, and aluminum. Twice the standard router's spindle speed and up to four times faster in rigid materials. Or the 1.4 kW standard router.
  • Fast+ module for banner, vinyl, and flexible media where the file has hundreds of tool lifts. 400 mm/s vertical, 2 G.
  • Rotary knife module for woven and technical textiles. Decagonal blade, low horizontal force.
  • Tools: kiss-cut, single and double edge cutout, heavy duty cutout to 15 mm, rigid material cutout to 8 mm, high precision cutout, corrugated to 8 mm, V-cut in five angles to 27 mm, bevel, perforating, creasing wheels, Power EOT to 16 mm, POT to 25 mm, POT-L to 42 mm.

F Series modules and tools, with materials and thickness limits

Three module positions means three modules mounted at once. A typical F3232 for a display shop runs Core+, the HF router, and Fast+, and adds the rotary knife when textile is part of the mix. We'll build the tooling list with you during the quote.

Media Handling and Workflow on the F3232

Standard on every F3232: conveyor system, pneumatic media clamps, clamp bar, roll support, vacuum table with automatic zone selection, camera with positioning laser, LED status bar.

Tandem workflow. Two rows of seven vacuum zones split the table front and rear, each half about 63" deep. Cut on one half, load the other, and the table alternates. A 4x8 sheet fits crosswise in each half, so two sheet jobs can be in play at once.

Roll handling at 3.2 m. The standard roll support carries 110 lb per side, or 220 lb when the roll is carried by both sides. The optional Heavy Duty Roll Support takes rolls to 440 lb.

Operator Mode. Splits the table into a cutting zone and a safe loading zone with the conveyor moving finished parts forward.

Barcode workflow. OPOS barcodes identify the job and pull the cut file, read by the built-in camera or a hand scanner. Included with GoProduce.

Extension tables. Front, rear, or 50/50 for loading and offloading long sheets.

Optional: Heavy Duty Roll Support, oil mister for aluminum.

Summa F3232 Vantage Questions

What fits on the F3232 Vantage?

The working area is 128.5" x 126". Two 5' x 10' boards fit side by side. A 3.2 m (126") roll runs at native width through the conveyor to 164 ft per job. Working area can shrink slightly depending on which tools are mounted.

How does tandem workflow work on the F3232?

Fourteen vacuum zones in two rows of seven split the table front and rear, each half about 63" deep. While the cutter works one half, the operator unloads and reloads the other, and the table switches. A 4x8 sheet fits crosswise in each half.

F3220 or F3232?

Same 130.7" media width. The F3220 is 43" shorter front to back, has one row of vacuum zones, and suits roll-fed textile floors. The F3232 adds the second row for tandem workflow and takes oversized rigid panels. If you cut sheets at this width, the F3232 pays for the extra floor space quickly.

Can it route ACM and acrylic at this size?

Yes. The 3.7 kW HF router at 60,000 RPM runs on the F3232 like every other Vantage. Two full ACM plates can be on the table at once, one routing while the other is set.

How much floor space does the F3232 take?

The table is 166" wide by 166" deep by 48" high, roughly 14 feet square. Add room at one end for the roll or sheet loading and at the other for offloading, more if you add extension tables. Walk the space before you order; this is the model where floor plans change.

How does it ship?

Five crates, 6,330 lb gross in total. The largest is 180" x 51" x 43". It needs a forklift and a dock or liftgate, and a clear path for a 15-foot crate. We handle delivery, uncrating, placement, and commissioning.

What consumables does the F3232 use?

Summa-compatible knife blades for the tangential, drag, oscillating, and rotary tools, router bits for the standard and HF routers, and a conveyor belt cut to the F3232's width and length. Blades and bits are stocked in Racine, Wisconsin; ask us about belt lead time for this model.
