Summa F1832 Vantage Flatbed Cutting System
Authorized Summa Dealer
Full 5x10 sheets and complete ACM plates in one pass.
The F1832 Vantage is the long-format model in Summa's F Series Vantage line: a 72.2" x 126" working area that takes a full 5' x 10' board or a complete ACM plate without splitting the job or re-registering, and 74.8" media width that matches 72" print output. Eight vacuum zones in two rows give it tandem workflow, so one half of the table cuts while the other loads.
It runs the same platform as every Vantage: 1,000 mm/s (40 ips), acceleration to 1 G, three module positions, Fast+ and Core+ tangential modules, the 3.7 kW router, ultrasonic thickness sensing, and 3D blade calibration. Flatbed Tools sells, installs, trains on, and services the F1832 Vantage, and stocks the blades, router bits, and conveyor belts it runs.

Who the F1832 Vantage Is For
- Sign and display shops that buy 5x10 stock and have been cutting it in two passes or trimming it down to fit a smaller table.
- ACM fabricators cutting and routing full plates for panels, cladding, and dimensional signage.
- Print floors running 72" output that want the cutter to match the printer width instead of stepping down.
- Industrial shops cutting gasket, foam, and rubber sheet at length, where the 126" single-panel run keeps parts in one piece.
- Anyone replacing an F1832 4X. Most tangential tools carry over; the modules don't. See the questions below.
If your largest sheet is 4x8, the F1625 Vantage does the same work on a shorter table. If you run 3.2 m printer output or want two jobs in play at once, look at the F3232 Vantage.

What the F1832 Vantage Cuts
Rigid sheets up to 5x10
ACM and ACP plates, foam PVC, foamboard, acrylic, and MDF with the 3.7 kW router. Corrugated board with the corrugated tool, no oscillation and no dust. Honeycomb board and reboard with the Power EOT to 16 mm. Aluminum to 3 mm with the oil mister.
Flexible media, off the roll or in sheets
Adhesive vinyl, banner, and soft signage from 72" printers. Reflective, protective, and magnetic sheeting across the full 126" length.
Industrial sheet goods
Gasket material, rubber, and foam to 42 mm with the pneumatic oscillating tools. Long parts stay in one piece on the 126" panel.
Textiles
Woven polyester, canvas, and technical fabric with the rotary knife module.

F1832 Vantage Modules and Tools
The F1832 ships with the drag knife module, the camera module, and ADC on both edges. From there you configure it:
- Fast+ module for vinyl, flexible media, and light board where the file has hundreds of tool lifts. 400 mm/s vertical, 2 G.
- Core+ module for kiss-cutting, creasing, V-cut, rigid cutout, and oscillating tools. 44 lb of downforce.
- 3.7 kW HF router at 60,000 RPM for ACM, acrylic, MDF, and aluminum. Or the 1.4 kW standard router for lighter routing work.
- Rotary knife module for textiles.
- Tools: kiss-cut, single and double edge cutout, heavy duty cutout to 15 mm, rigid material cutout to 8 mm, high precision cutout, corrugated to 8 mm, V-cut in five angles to 27 mm, bevel, perforating, creasing wheels, Power EOT to 16 mm, POT to 25 mm, POT-L to 42 mm.
F Series modules and tools, with materials and thickness limits
Three module positions means three modules mounted at once. A typical F1832 for a rigid-sheet shop runs Core+, the HF router, and Fast+, and never swaps during the day. We'll build the tooling list with you during the quote.
Media Handling and Workflow on the F1832
Standard on every F1832: conveyor system, pneumatic media clamps, clamp bar, roll support, vacuum table with automatic zone selection, camera with positioning laser, LED status bar.
Tandem workflow. Two rows of vacuum zones split the table front and rear. Cut on one half, load the other, and the table alternates. On a 126" table that's the difference between one sheet an hour and a queue.
Operator Mode. Splits the table into a cutting zone and a safe loading zone with the conveyor moving finished parts forward.
Barcode workflow. OPOS barcodes identify the job and pull the cut file, read by the built-in camera or a hand scanner. Included with GoProduce.
Extension tables. Front, rear, or 50/50 for loading and offloading long sheets.
Optional: Heavy Duty Roll Support for rolls to 440 lb, oil mister for aluminum.

Summa F1832 Vantage Questions
Does the F1832 Vantage cut a full 5x10 sheet?
Yes. The working area is 72.2" x 126", so a 60" x 120" board fits with margin on both axes, and a 74.8" media width takes 72" printer output. Working area can shrink slightly depending on which tools are mounted.
What is the difference between the F1832 Vantage and the F1832 4X?
Same working area, new platform. The Vantage adds the Fast+ module with double the vertical speed, the ultrasonic thickness sensor, 3D Automatic Device Calibration, module and tool ID recognition, Ethernet motion control, and a 3.7 kW router at 60,000 RPM in place of the 1.4 kW at 25,000. Summa's benchmark on the F1625 ran the same files 45% to 90% faster; the F1832 shares the platform.
Can I use tools and modules from my F1832 4X?
Most tangential tools carry over. The 4X tangential modules run on the Vantage at 4X speeds. Router, drag, and rotary modules do not cross over, and the Fast+ module is Vantage-only. Call before you order; the carry-over list changes the quote.
Does the F1832 run tandem workflow?
Yes. Eight vacuum zones in two rows split the table front and rear, so one half cuts while you load the other.
How much floor space does the F1832 take?
The table is 110" wide by 166" deep by 48" high. Add room at one end for loading 10-foot sheets and at the other for offloading, more if you add extension tables.
How does it ship?
Five crates, 5,247 lb gross in total. The largest is 159" x 39" x 43". It needs a forklift and a dock or liftgate, and a clear path for a 13-foot crate. We handle delivery, uncrating, placement, and commissioning.
What consumables does the F1832 use?
Summa-compatible knife blades for the tangential, drag, and oscillating tools, router bits for the standard and HF routers, and a conveyor belt cut to the F1832's length. Blades and bits are stocked in Racine, Wisconsin; ask us about belt lead time for this model.
