K6t - 10 Pack Type 6
The K6T is a 0.63 mm high-speed steel, flat-stock blade for through cutting, scoring, and oscillating on Esko, Gerber/MCT, and Zund digital cutting systems. It is designed for self-adhesive vinyl, polycarbonate, polyester, masking film, window preparation vinyl, magnetic media, transfer paper, 3M VHB, and other thin flexible materials.

What is through cutting?
Through cutting means the blade cuts completely through the material and any backing or liner underneath it. The finished part separates fully from the surrounding sheet.
The K6T can also be used for scoring and compatible oscillating applications. Zund recommends using the Type 6 as an oscillating blade for the best results. When used as a drag blade, it produces a shorter overcut but applies more drag force to the material.

The K6T is manufactured from 0.63 mm high-speed steel. HSS provides a practical combination of sharpness, toughness, and affordability for general production cutting.
High-speed steel is less brittle than carbide and is more tolerant of vibration and incidental impacts. This makes the K6T a reliable choice for oscillating applications and for materials that can place changing loads on the cutting edge.
The single-edge 35-degree geometry provides a sharp entry point for thin materials while the flat-stock body supports the blade during through cutting, scoring, and oscillating work.

Should I use the K6T as a drag or oscillating blade?
